French German Italian Portuguese Spanish Japanese Korean Chinese Tower Water Heat Recovery
Walk out on your building's rooftop and you'll likely see an anomaly. Most industrial users will have a cooling tower rejecting millions of BTUs per hour and within a stones throw will be multiple make-up air heaters consuming thousands of cubic feet of gas. You don't run those heaters all summer-why run your cooling tower all winter!

By installing a Greenhouse, the water that would normally flow to the cooling tower is diverted to a dry tube bundle and used to heat make-up air.  Simple, straight forward and the economics speak for themselves.

Cooling towers are normally rated in tons of cooling. A 300 ton (3 GPM and 15,000 BTUs per ton) cooling tower is designed to cool 900 GPM from 95F to 85F rejecting 4.5 million BTUs per hour. That 4.5 million BTUs is worth between $ 22.50 (@$5 per 1000 cu. ft) and $45.00/hour (@$10 per 1000 cu. ft).

If your facility is located in Chicago, for instance, and you operate two (2) eight hour shifts, 5 days per week and you are paying $6.50/1000 cubic feet of gas, you have the opportunity to recoup and use that same 4.5 MM BTUs/ hour that your tower is rejecting for 2880 hours per heating season.  That's a savings of $84,240.00 per heat season.

These are real numbers and real savings. Let us show you how to get started today
